Interpretation of "Good Standing and Membership"

The American Anti-Corruption Institute (AACI) hereby provides the following legally binding interpretation of the phrase "Maintain a good standing and membership in The Institute" as it applies to Certified Anti-Corruption Manager (CACM).

A CACM is considered to be in "good standing and membership" with The American Anti-Corruption Institute (AACI) if the CACM meets the following conditions:

  1. Adherence to the Code of Ethics: The CACM abides by The AACI Code of Ethics and all related standards, rules, and policies established by The AACI,
  2. Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Compliance: The CACM fulfills all the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements as established by The AACI,
  3. Annual Membership Fee Payment: The CACM pays The AACI the yearly membership fee of USD 150. The initial membership fee is waived for the first year for CACMs who have completed the CACM review course and exam provided by The AACI.

The CACM membership digital card issued by The AACI is one of the official documents indicating the CACM’s membership status within the Institute. Members who fail to adhere to the above conditions and maintain an active status may have their membership lapsed, suspended, or terminated.

This interpretation is intended to ensure clarity and consistency in understanding the requirements for "good standing and membership". It shall bind all CACMs of The American Anti-Corruption Institute (AACI).
