  • Fulfillment of continuing professional education (CPE) requirements

Approved Uses

  • Digital profiles (e.g., LinkedIn, personal websites)

  • Email signatures

  • Business cards or resumes

  • Printed certificates and professional bios
All use must align with The AACI’s visual guidelines and may not suggest institutional endorsement.

Visual Integrity Requirements

  • The Seal must appear exactly as issued by The AACI.

  • It may not be altered, animated, recolored, or combined with other graphics.

  • The seal must remain clearly visible and unmodified.

Mandatory Disclaimer

When used on websites, printed material, or social media profiles, the following disclaimer must accompany the seal:

“Use of The AACI Seal does not imply endorsement by The AACI. The seal solely represents the certification status of the individual or entity.”

Misuse and Enforcement

Any unauthorized use of The AACI Seal may result in:

  • Revocation of certification

  • Suspension of membership

  • Legal action under U.S. trademark and copyright law

The AACI actively monitors seal use and reserves the right to issue cease-and-desist orders and take further disciplinary action as necessary.

Revocation of Seal Use

  • They must immediately discontinue all use of The AACI Seal

  • Continued use after revocation may lead to public notification and legal consequences
